Want to be involved in helping the school community? Join Project Boost! From organizing fundraisers, such as food drives, to boosting school spirit, there’s a role for everyone. Whether you enjoy designing flyers, planning activities, or supporting causes, Project BOOST allows you to use your skills to make a difference.

Bringing the community closer is one of Project Boost’s main goals. For instance, collaborating with other clubs to support them and spreading the word across the school! As quoted from a 2025 member of Project Boost, Joanna He, “I would help another club or team to promote their event by helping to tape up posters of their promotion to help spread the word.” Setting up posters across the school allows students to recognize and support the club’s work. Posters can be used as another way to showcase events, fundraisers, and bring students closer together using common interests.

Project Boost not only helps the school community, but also the real world. Using the fundraisers, donations, and pop-up stores, they can get enough money to help others who don’t have the funds. When questioning Ms. Newman, one of the teachers in charge of Project Boost, she stated, “We had a pop-up shop where we sold items for Valentine’s Day, and then we took the funds and donated them to the American Heart Association.” This example is an excellent way to help the community, as students volunteer to spend money on something they want, while also helping to fund those experiencing hardship.

The shoe drive organized by Project Boost allowed students to donate gently used or unused items to those who might not have the means to purchase them. All the donations, fundraisers, and pop-up stores demonstrate how Project Boost can transform unwanted items and students’ purposeful spending into opportunities to help those experiencing financial difficulty.
